Bonjour,
From tomorrow 29 February, the ''mad cow'' restriction will be lifted.
This applied to people lived in the United Kingdom, France or Republic of Ireland between 1980 and 1996 for six months or more (more info here)
This means than a few members of our community are now eligible for blood donation! Think about it, especially if you are form the group O.
You can visit the Donor centre, or the Mobile Blood Drive tomorrow at the Otago University (in front of Union Hall, 8.30-1.30pm).
For info, other restrictions, which may affect some of our members, are being debated this month.
