The Dunedin Film Society is a organising a screening of "INDIA SONG". (Marguerite Duras | France | 1975 | HD | PG 120 mins) A haunted-house movie unlike any other, this most celebrated work from Marguerite Duras is an almost incantatory experience with few stylistic precedents in the history of cinema. This screening will place on Wednesday the 11th in the Castle 1 Lecture Theatre at 7.30pm. (Castle 1, 75 Albany Street).

At 7:30 pm on Wednesday the 25th, the Dunedin Film Soceity is scrrening another clasic french movie: "THE LONG ABSENCE". This forgotten New Wave film won the Palme d’Or in 1961. Tickets are available from the Dunedin Film Society: https://dunedinfilmsociety.org.nz
