About the event
In late October 2024 Dunedin-born Jennifer Andrewes arrived in Rome, having set out on foot from Canterbury 110 days earlier to complete the historic 2,400km Via Francigena.
A convert to the power of walking to change your thinking – and your life, her pilgrimage posts, with their tales of courage and camaraderie, of pastries and persistence, are widely read.
Come along on 27 March to hear more about the physical and emotional rollercoaster of walking across four countries in three languages and all weathers.
