Thanks to all of you who came to support you at the Quiz night! It was a really good evening, with many challenging questions!

Thanks to you, the Alliance Française Dunedin has raised $1,111. This money will go towards our education, cultural and social activities (scholarships and support for DELF Scolaire; new Regional Concours Oral for Year 9-11 students, etc.)

We say a very special thank you to all the local businesses who have kindly donated prizes to support our quiz night!

Entrée – $5.00

  •  Dauphinoise potato stack with a seasonal salad, burnt lemon vinaigrette and roasted cherry tomatoes
  • Mulligatawny soup, beef curry and apple with chargrilled bread

Main – $10.00

  • Nasi Goreng rice, spiced, tossed with prawns and chicken topped with a fried egg
  • Pumpkin and spinach risotto finished with parmesan bark

Dessert – $5.00

  • Matcha mousse madness, green tea and raspberry mousse
  • Chocolate sphere hiding an apple crumb and gingernut ice cream

Do you love reading? Do you want to keep up with the latest books in French? Or practice your reading skills? Then, the Alliance Française’s Book Club may be for you!

The Alliance Française’s Book Club is welcoming new members for the remainder of this year, for a $10 subscription!

That will give you the opportunity to read 2-4 recent publications in French, and share your thoughts/comments around a monthly cuppa!
