New Member Benefit: Marbecks Foodstore – Special Tour de France and Bastille Day

The Alliance Française Dunedin is proud to announce our new partnership with Marbecks Foodstore: all our members are now entitled to 25% discount on food and retail products on presentation of their membership card and by quoting “entertainment voucher” (discount can’t exceed $20 on a transaction).

 

Don’t miss Marbecks’ special events this month:

  • Tour de France – Tour of Cheese! Each week discover new cheeses related to the region crossed by the runners of the Tour de France
  • Bastille Day special dish: their French chef Julien will propose some typical French dishes on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th

Marbecks Foodstore is a restaurant and deli offering products imported from all over Europe and especially from France and Belgium. You can find Artisan French pastries every week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

What to see at the French Film Festival?- Thursday 16 March, 7pm

Not sure what to see at the French Film Festival? Two of our cinéphile members, Frédéric and Romain, are presenting highlights, trailers and reviews from their must-see, top pick french movies.

Join us at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery‘s auditorium on Thursday, March, 16th at 7 pm (enter through rear entrance on Moray place). A gold coin donation will put you in the draw to win two complimentary tickets to the Festival on the night!

In the meantime, don’t hesitate to have a look at the full film selection on http://frenchfilmfestival.co.nz/films/. Whether you’re a fan of classic films, romance, horror, comedy or children films – the French Film Festival has something you.

The presentation will be in French and English, and entry will be by gold coin donation.
