We apologise to those of you who missed out on our Soirée Belge last week. With the Alliance Francaise booked to full capacity this event was a great success.
Kathleen Matyn entertained us with an interesting presentation on Belgium , followed by a delicious meal of Boulets (meatballs) in a special sauce, French fries and green salad; Belgian waffles and speculoos for dessert and of course this couldn’t be served without some Belgian brewed beer.
Thank you to all the organising committee for a lovely, well organised event. More photos available in our facebook group.
If you are interested in hosting or would like us to profile any particular French-speaking region at our next cultural night please let us know: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Are you passionate about the French language and culture?
- Do you have skills you’d like to share?
