The Alliance Francaise French Film Festival is coming soon!
Have you checked out the full programme, which is now available here, and at the Rialto Cinema?
Here are a few more of our must-see movies:
Land of Metal: Based on extracts from novels and scientific essays, Land of Metal captures New Caledonia’s spellbinding beauty, skilfully balancing poetic recitation and science.
Montparnasse Bienvenue: Premiering in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes last year and winning the coveted Caméra d’Or, Léonor Serraille offers a delightful debut feature film about a young woman who lives in the moment.
Rodin: The film beautifully captures the essence of Rodin’s sculptures, transcribing the idea of movement and strong emotions that made the sculptor’s work world-famous.
Festival films will be shown in Dunedin at the Rialto Cinema from 22 March to 4 April and in Arrowtown at Dorothy Browns from 5 to 15 April.
