Amélie Lucas-Gary, the 2018 Laureate of the Randell Writers cottage residency in New Zealand is coming to Dunedin!
- On 7 March, she will be giving a talk titled “From Paris to Wellington: an unusual journey into literature” (5pm – 6pm; Castle C lecture theatre, Otago University).
- On 8 March, she will be holding a Q+A session at the Alliance Francaise Dunedin, while munching on crepes at our monthly crêpe party! (The crêpe party will exceptionally be members only on that night.)
Photographer-turned-writer Amélie Lucas-Gary is the Randell Cottage’s French writer in residence for 2018. Born in 1982, in Arcachon in France’s South West, she studied at the Sorbonne, graduating with degrees win cinema and history, and photography at the National School of Photography in Arles.
