COME CELEBRATE WITH US SAT 22 APRIL, 11am-1pm, BROAD BAY SCHOOL
We hope you are all having a lovely Easter. In France it is the Church Bells (not the Easter Bunny) that bring Easter eggs. Church bells ring every day in France except for Good Friday and Easter Saturday as a sign of mourning for Jesus death. Legend tells that the Bells went off to Rome and return on Easter Sunday where the church bells are rung for a long time in celebration of Jesus’ resurrection and drop Easter Eggs in gardens for children to find.
Our church bells are running a little late this year, but will be dropping their Easter Eggs at Broad Bay School next Saturday 22 April, so come join us for a shared picnic and Easter Celebration 11am-1pm. Everyone welcome. $2/child for members or $4/child for non-members. Please RSVP so we can make sure the Bells bring enough eggs for everyone: firstname.lastname@example.org / Audrey 021 189 0537
